Ever since I was young I’ve loved everything fabric related. Textiles and photography were my favourite subjects at school, which lead me on to study them at A-level. I completed an Art Foundation course and then studied Fashion Design at university. This is where I found my flare for pattern cutting.

Manipulating fabrics to create a 3D form from a 2D shape became my passion and something I was good at.

Over the years I have made a variety of prom dresses and bridesmaid dresses whilst working full time but when my nephew came along in 2018 I had a new love to concentrate on. Through 2019 I tried out a variety of fabrics and luckily had my little helper to test them for durability with the “squat test”.

2020 brought the pandemic and with it a big test to everyone’s mental health. To focus my mind on something positive, I branched out on to social media and started to sell to a wider audience.

Not wanting to leave the adults out, I’m now in a position where I can offer items to all ages and even corporate clothing. The rest is history so they say and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Snuggle Friends.
